CERAMIS® available for all converters worldwide
|
 After more than 10 years of CERAMIS® High Barrier Films development, the last three years have been spent in converting them almost exclusively within Alcan facilities. The vast experience gathered over these years has led to a broad product portfolio, covering numerous packaging applications. Since January 2004, the entire range of products is available to YOU as well. As a separate business unit, we are now supplying CERAMIS® Barrier Films following the long Alcan tradition of selling aluminum foil worldwide.

Award for Leggo's Pasta Meals
|
 Judges from 27 countries selected Australia’s new Simplot Leggo's Pasta Meals range as the best new product in the „ready to eat“ category of the highly contested Paris based SIAL d’Or award. Leggo's also won the award for the best new Australian product. Leggo’s Pasta Meals are filled in stand-up pouches with CERAMIS® barrier. |

Successful certification for Business Unit CERAMIS®
|
In April 2004, the Business Unit CERAMIS® of Alcan Packaging Kreuzlingen was certified by the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS) to have met the requirements of the normative bases in Quality Management, Environmental Management and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:1996, OHSAS 18001:1999).
